As a professional dog trainer I am thrilled with this versatile training tool. The O-Rings slide perfectly. The nose loop when in use does not tighten unnecessarily, requiring constant adjustment to ensure comfort for the dog. Is it a muzzle?
No, it’s not a muzzle. When you use the Good Walker leash as a head halter and put the loop on the nose, your dog can eat, bark, pant, drink water, yawn and smell too! The nose loop does not constrict your dog’s mouth in any way.

- The Safety: The safety is a necessary function in any quality leash. If a leash doesn’t have a safety (back up) on it, we do not use it. PERIOD! Our safety is strong and smooth and doesn’t interrupt any slipping functionality with the leash. No shortcuts are allowed when it comes to safety for the dogs in our care. Unlike other safety’s, our safety is made out of the same durable material of the leash and it does not get tangled in the legs of the dog. The safety hooks to your dog’s flat collar so in the event of an emergency and it slips off your dog’s head, your dog cannot get loose.
- The Snugger Lock: The lock is what holds the leash in place. Locks need to be sturdy and easily move up and down the leash. Our leash lock is made of the durable material of the actual leash, not some piece that is easily chewed and ruined.
- The Material: Rope that is high quality, smooth and soft, and available in a variety of really cool colors. Our leash is made from braided multifilament polypropylene fibers. The leashes stay soft and pliable even in cold conditions and the fibers will not sliver. This custom woven product has built in stretch. It also releases knots easier than nylon or cotton ropes. The specific gravity of poly rope is less than water so it naturally floats. Polypropylene lines have excellent resistance to salt water, will not absorb water and can be stored wet or dry. It can be tossed into the washer in a mesh bag when it needs cleaning. The durability of the rope is unmatched. The small size can withstand up to 750 lbs of pulling force without breaking, while the regular size can manage up to 1800 lbs of pulling force without breaking.
