Aly’s Puppy Boot Camp Testimonial!

Dear Aly, Luke and Grant, Two years ago, around Christmas, and in the middle of the pandemic, you began training our then eight-week-old Ashley from Country Labradoodles. You welcomed us the day after Christmas to meet her for the first time in our rented RV, at a time when we were supposed to “stay in place.” (There must be some sort of pun here in dog training terms). I remember Grant as the ultimate host proffering homemade cookies, clad in his mask that also served as a scarf around his neck.

Adding Ashley to our family and having her (and more importantly us), training at Aly’s Puppy Boot Camp was one of the best decisions and investments our family has made. We are so grateful to you and Luke for everything you taught us in our time together. I cannot count the number of times people have stopped me to ask how I got my dog to “be like that.” Your “just be” methods are the secret sauce. Also helpful was seeing the way you interreacted with the dogs in real time. I often think of the unflappable demeanor Aly showed around the dogs and try to channel it. Luke was the same demonstrating how to brush a puppy – for some reason the puppies all seem to love him the most! Early in my dog ownership I think my human parenting improved – but those buggers are smart and just liker dogs they will test your boundaries!

It was a joy to continue Ashley’s training to AKC’s Canine Good Citizen, but more important than any certificate is genuinely enjoying having her around. Thank you for giving our family the tools to thrive in dog ownership. We are, and continue to be, so grateful to you! Thank you for what you do – you make a difference!
